Chattahoochee River
The Chattahoochee River is the most important river in Georgia because it is Georgia's biggest drinking source. Without out it, Georgia would be a desert. The Chattahoochee River played a key role in Georgia's prehistory. The Woodlands, an Indian tribe, found the river useful. Once settlers came, they traded resources by using the river as a method of transportation. The river stretches from the North of Georgia to the South.
