Parallel Structure
Parallel Structures is repetition of the same pattern to show the same level of importance. You can make either Parallel Structure with Gerunds, Infinitives, or do any ending as long as all your elements are in the right tense and have same endings. You CANNOT mix them in a sentences.

Examples of Parallel Structure (Gerunds):
- I like dancing, singing, and crying in front of my class.
- To be a good dancer, you must be good at dancing, singing, and crying.
Examples of Parallel Structures (Infinitives):
- I like to swim, study, and eat.
- I like to swim, to study, and to eat.
Examples of Parallel Structures:
- The boy used his time efficiently and effectively.
- The boy had horrible behavior; he disturbs class, wastes time, and barfs on other students.
Examples of Not Parallel Structures:
- I like crying, dancing, and sing in front of class.
