French and Indian War
The French and Indian War was a conflict for land in the new world against the British and French. It started when the British traded with the American Indians on French territory. The French was angry about the trade and they declared war. In the beginning, the French was pushing around the British because the help of American Indians. The American Indians sided with French because the French were nicer to them than the British. But after the British blockaded the French ships, the British won victory after victory. The French surrendered in 1763 and signed the Treaty of Paris.
