The Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Acts took action after The Boston Tea Party. It states the Massachusetts had their rights to self-government and historic rights taken away. The Boston Tea Party was an protest for taxing tea, so the colonist threw hundreds of tea barrels into the Boston Harbor. The colonist weren't to happy about their rights stolen, so the had the first continental congress, which was an act of protest.
